Following the success of our June breast cancer fundraiser, we are bringing back our limited edition Thread & Maple 'Go Pink' Notions Clutch Bundles for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
These special bundles will be available in our shop from 12noon AEST, Saturday 23 October whilst stocks last.
To enter the fundraiser simply make a donation of $5AUD or more through our National Breast Cancer Foundation Fundraising page, between 12noon AEST, Saturday 23 October and 12noon AEST, Saturday 30 October 2021.
Our amazing prize pool for this round includes donations from some generous and talented Aussie Indie Dyers and friends in the fibre arts community.
When Jessica Gore of The Sweater Collective said she was designing a Lamington Shawl, we knew it would be a delectable knit.
Lamingtons are a tasty dessert here in Australia, made from chocolate-coated sponge cake sprinkled with coconut and often sandwiched with delicious jam in the middle and Jessica's gorgeous new shawl design perfectly captures the sweet magic of brioche knitting.

Back in 2016 when I was a relatively inexperienced knitter, it was the first Curious Handmade Shawl Society season which expertly guided me through the process of shawl knitting and demystified the art of lace knitting, perhaps now my most adored knitting technique.

As you know we teamed up with Sam and Olga from Thread & Maple and Designer Tracie Miller of the Grocery Girls, to run a fundraiser both in Australia and Canada for breast cancer research and awareness.
The proceeds from both our fundraisers came to well over $10,000.
