Lamingtons are a tasty dessert here in Australia, made from chocolate-coated sponge cake sprinkled with coconut and often sandwiched with delicious jam in the middle.
When Jessica Gore of The Sweater Collective said she was designing a Lamington Shawl, we knew it would be a delectable knit.
With an easy half pi shape and video tutorials included, the Lamington Shawl is a perfect project for sinking your teeth into the sweet magic of brioche knitting.
Or, if you’re an experienced briocher, you can enjoy the shawl as an afternoon treat of relaxation knitting!
Knit in three different colourways of fingering weight yarn, the shawl is a fun and motivating knit.
The pattern is available for purchase separately on Ravelry here or Payhip here.
We had the pleasure of putting together a kit for the Lamington Shawl on our Merino Fingering yarn base in our Plum Jam (how could we not build a palette with a colourway with such a name!), Blue Spruce and Solstice colourways.
