Our Story

Louie & Lola Yarns was founded by Karina Moore in 2019, born out of a passion for knitting with wool and natural fibre yarns.

Our rich, hand dyed colourways are designed to suit contemporary knitwear designs, with many inspired by the natural landscape of Tasmania, which we call home.

All our yarn bases are sourced from ethically sourced farms and mills and dyed in small batches in our small dye studio.

We offer a beautiful range of untreated, non-superwash yarns - yarns that you'll reach for every day and will last a lifetime.

In addition we delight in bringing you our favourite crafting tools and accessories, including Thread & Maple, Chiaogoo, Katrinkles and Pacific Knit Co.

Our on-site dye studio shop is located 10 minutes from Sheffield, in North West Tasmania and is open by appointment.
