We are excited to present a special treat for you this Easter!
Because we love collaborating with other talented Aussie dyers, when Tess from Fluff & Nonsense came to visit recently we decided to have some fun in the dye pots together.
Side by side we each created a limited edition Easter inspired sock set, using the same yarn base and dye pigments, but using our own individual dyeing techniques.
The result is two totally different but equally gorgeous sock sets, with this listing being for Tess's beautiful rich purple themed sock set, which has been paired with a pale pink semi-solid mini skein.
Please note this sock set will be dyed-to-order and will ship by Saturday, 26th April. This listing will be live until Wednesday, 9th April.
80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), 20% Nylon.
Main skein meterage is 365m / weight 100g & mini skein 73m / 20g.
This base is soft but also very strong, due to the longer staple length of BFL.
It is a high twist yarn which provides for great stitch definition.
Perfect for socks, garments, shawls & other accessories.
Hand dyed in small batches using professional quality acid dyes and heat set to ensure colours that will last.
Please ensure you buy enough yarn for your project at the same time, as colours between dye batches can vary. Even within the same dye batch skeins will vary - that is the beauty and nature of hand dyed yarn - every skein is unique and individual.
Every effort has been made to remove any excess dye from the yarn, however a little may remain, particularly with dark and rich colours. It is therefore recommended to gently hand wash your hand dyed projects on their own, in cold water, with wool wash or a mild detergent.
