NEW ZEALAND
Flat rate shipping - $18.20 (Standard) or $30.20 (Express).

UNITED STATES & CANADA
Flat rate shipping - $25 (Standard) or $37 (Express). If you are shopping online from the US or Canada, the prices shown on our website automatically include the tariff charges, which we pre-pay on your behalf.

Excludes oversized items, all amounts in AUD.

INTERNATIONAL
Postage costs for all other countries will be calculated at checkout. We currently ship worldwide, with the exception of the EU. All shipments are sent via Australia Post, with tracking.

LOCAL PICK UP
We offer a Local Pickup service which you can select at checkout. When your order is ready for you to pick up you will receive a email notification.

DYED TO ORDER
Items ordered with dyed-to-order yarn will be held and shipped together once your dyed to order yarn is ready. If you’d like your other items sooner, please place a separate order.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery of your order.

  • All return items must be in resaleable condition, unless it was faulty or damaged.
  • It must be in its original packaging and unopened.
  • We cannot accept returned yarn if it has been wound from a skein into a ball or cake.

We are pleased to offer printed copies of Sanna & Co.'s Claire in Paris Shawl pattern.

This shawl is inspired by the costumes in the TV show Outlander.

The construction of the shawl is inspired by some of the shawls Claire wears in season 1, but the style and colours are inspired by the outfits Claire wore in Season 2 in Paris.

SIZING AND FIT:

  • One size.
  • Finished dimensions: 184 cm / 73.5” wide and 86 cm / 33.75” high.

NEEDLES 

  • 3.5mm / US4, 80cm / 32” and 120cm / 48” circular needles.

NOTIONS

  • Tapestry needle, stitchmarkers, stitch holders.
  • For tassels: Cardstock, scissors.

YARN

DIOR (TWO COLOUR VERSION)
  • C1: 480m / 525yds of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
  • C2: 360m / 394yds of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
VERSAILLES (THREE COLOUR VERSION)
  • C1a: 200m / 219yds of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
  • C1b: 300m / 328yds of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
  • C2: 360m / 394yds of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.

    Of our yarn bases we would suggest our Merino Silk Cashmere Fingering, Merino Silk Yak Fingering or Merino Fingering yarn bases for the Claire in Paris Shawl.  More information on our yarn bases can be found here.

    GAUGE

    • 20 sts and 34 rows = 10cm / 4” on 3.5mm / US4 needles in Stockinette st, measured from a relaxed fabric after blocking.

      PROCESS

      Worked flat and in one piece.

      A wide stripe pattern of garter st in Colour 1 (C1) and stockinette st in Colour 2 (C2) is worked throughout the shawl.

      Two versions:

      • Dior worked in two colours, C1 and C2 and with a straight BO edge.
      • Versailles worked in three colours: C1 stripes are divided between two colours, C1a and C1b. With bobbled BO edge.
